IEEE MSRIT
The IEEE Student Branch was inaugurated in MSRIT in November 2003. The branch endeavors to enrich the students of MSRIT with the latest developments in various fields of technology and research and ensure that their competency levels meet all required standards in todays industry.

The branch strives to encourage organization and participation in a kaleidoscope of technical events throughout the year, implicitly emphasizing on extra-curricular activities in a students life. This will benefit the students by laying a rich platform of experience, knowledge and activities, which they must look up to and build successful careers.

MSRIT
The M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a premier educational institution started in 1962 by Sri M S Ramaiah, a great visionary, industrialist, educationalist and philanthropist under the Gokula Education Foundation at Bangalore, INDIA.

Today, MSRIT is one of the foremost names in prestigious Engineering colleges throughout India. It became the first institution of its kind in the country to acquire the coveted ISO certification as well as accreditation from National Board of Accreditation. MSRIT offers B.E. programmes in thirteen different streams of engineering, M.Tech. in nine disciplines of engineering and Ph.D., MSc (Engg) by research, as well as MCA and MBA.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 365,000 individual members in approximately 150 countries. Through its members, the IEEE is a leading authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace engineering and consumer electronics, among others. It has the most members of any technical professional organization in the world

The purpose of the IEEE is "scientific and educational, directed toward the advancement of the theory and practice of electrical, electronics, communications and computer engineering, as well as computer science, the allied branches of engineering and the related arts and sciences."

The IEEE promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing, and applying knowledge about electro and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of humanity and the profession.
