Department Details

The Industrial Engineering and Management was functioning  from 1979 as part of Mechanical Engineering. Having recognized the need to give full thrust to the developing field of Industrial Engineering, a separate department of Industrial Engineering and Management was formed in the year 1984, with  initial  faculty strength of Five and student strength of Forty. It has grown to a size to give education of Sixty students and Proportionately the faculty strength has increased to Eleven

 Mission :

 To fully prepare professionally competent engineers to the changing needs of the Industry by imparting relevant and appropriate engineering knowledge and also give inputs in the field of  Industrial Engineering and Management.

 Goal : 

To evolve a well rounded individual with basic engineering skills and high analytical and problem solving skills imparted by Industrial Engineering techniques

To continuously upgrade knowledge of faculty in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management by way full freedom and opportunity. 

Objective :

To achieve the mission / goal the following objectives have been set up

 To aim to be the Hall mark for excellence in the branch of study.

To bridge the gap between industry and academic by way  of bringing new inputs to faculty / students.

INDEMAN Society :

INDEMAN stands for Industrial Engineering and Management. The INDEMAN society from years has been  working for the benefit of students. It helps to students in getting familiars with the environment in industries, the technological advancements made in the field and soon. Also it intends to enhance the overall development of students.
