The department of telecommunication was established in 1997
to meet the challenges of the changing needs of
Communication Industry and Networking Technology with the
sanctioned intake of 30 students. Current intake is 60
students.
The department has M.Tech Programme “ Digital
Communications” started in 2004. |

The department has 12 faculty, 5 non-teaching and 2
support staff.
