| The department has a student & staff association "Royal Society of Civil Engineers" started in 1995. The techno cultural event "STEM" was conducted in the year 2004. National Conference on "Applications of Recycled & Marginal Materials in Construction" (ARMICON ) 2006 to be held on May 19 & 20, 2006.
