- Varsha Parihar (4th M.Tech Student) under the guidance of Smt. H Mallika, presented a paper in National conference on Networking, Embedded & Wireless Systems (NEWS 2010) on “Advanced Clutter filtering from Radar Wind Profiler Signals” at the Dept. of Electronics & Communication held on 29th July 2010 .
- Shashikala.J, (4th M.Tech Student) under the guidance of Dr. S. Sethu Selvi, presented a paper in National conference on Networking, Embedded & Wireless Systems (NEWS 2010) on “Prediction Error Based Reversible Watermarking” at the Dept. of Electronics & Communication, in association with National Instruments is organizing a national conference on Networking, Embedded & Wireless Systems held on 29th July 2010.
- Hrishi Prasoon and Ankit, 3rd year students of E&C Engineering, published Research paper titled “Advanced cooling Technology- Need of future SOC, D &R IP-08 Conference, Grenoble, France Technology Impact 2008.
- Dr. S Sethu Selvi & Umanath R Kamath (8sem E & C) and Sudhin M A ( 8 sem Computer Science) published Research paper titled “Andha Astra- A Navigation System for the Visually Impaired” presented in Proceedings of IEEE Multi Fusion Sensors held at Korea in August 2008.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem E & C) and Sudhin M A (8 sem Computer Science ) has won Rs 1,50, 000 each cash prize as Honeywell Innovator Scholarship.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem E & C) and Sudhin M A (8 sem Computer Science ) published Research paper titled “ Andha Astra- A Navigation System for the Visually Impaired” and Won First Prize (Freedom to Innovate 2007) conducted by Honeywell Solutions Limited.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem,2005-2008 batch) won the First Place in the National Level paper presentation Abhivyakthi-2007 conducted by IEEE Students Branch at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem, 2005-2008 batch) awarded the First Place in Project Presentation at VTU Fest 2009 held at SBMJCE, Bangalore among all affiliated Engineering colleges in Karnataka.
- Dr. S Sethu Selvi , K Indira , Soumya R , Sowmya C, students of 4sem M.Tech in Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering published research paper titled “ Skew Detection and Correction of Kannada Document using Wavelet Decomposition and Hough Transform” in National Conference on Communication and Signal Processing (NCCP 2009).
- Dr. S Sethu Selvi , K Indira , Soumya R , student of 4sem M.Tech in Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering published research paper titled “ Machine Recognition of Handwritten Kannada Character Recognition System” in National Conference on Rccit 2009.
- Presented a Project on “ Face Recognition based on Fourier Wavelet Transform’ has been selected for presenting in TECH- TOP 2009, at Trivandrum, Kerala on August 17 and 18th 2009, from the students of VI Sem Sri. Raghavendra, Pradeep, and Nagendra, under the guidance of Smt. Maya V Karki , Asst Prof. Selected one among 46 projects out of 231 entries from all over India.
- Ramya R (M.Tech student 4 sem) under the guidance of Prof. M S Srinivas presented M.Tech Project as a paper on “Tool Development to target multi cycle paths in RTL design” in National Level Technical Symposium 2009 held at Shirdi Sai Engineering College Bangalore. p67-70, May 2009.

- Umanath R Kamath (8sem, 2005-2008 batch) was named the HONEYWELL SCHOLAR-2008 (one of 32 students selected worldwide, includes scholarship which funds for undergraduate studies and a research internship at their labs).
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem, 2005-2008 batch) won Honorary Award at the PSOCTM Innovator Design Challenge India 2008 for project titled Electro-Automot-Ease.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem, 2005-2008 batch) awarded the “BEST EMBEDDED DESIGN-2007” among all entries from graduate, undergraduate and engineers at the FREESCALE TECHOLOGY FORUM, November 07 by FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTORS for system on vehicular safety titled “PROTUNIK- An aid for automobiles for safer and better driving on Indian roads”.
- Umanath R Kamath (8sem, 2005-2008 batch) was Awarded the Prestigious KISHORE VAIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJANA Research Internship for the period 2007-2009.(KVPY is conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore to promote research among engineering students. Each year about 20 students are selected at the national level)
