SOFTWARE: Express PCB, Dip Trace, Eagle. Session-3: Computer Controlled Robotics: “By simple pressing of command buttons, mouse clicks on a computer one can control a Wireless Robot.” ISOLATORS: Why do we need isolation?, Opto Isolators. PARALLEL PORT: DB-25 IBM PC Parallel Port, Parallel Port Registers, How to get the Parallel Port Address?, Indepth explanation of Parallel Port Data Register, Interfacing Parallel Port with the Transmitter Circuit. VISUAL BASIC 6.0: Introduction to Visual Studio, How to access Parallel Port using VB 6.0?, Coding in VB 6.0, How to set a delay function?, How to do Pre-Programming?. Session-4: Speech Controlled Robotics: “By simply speaking out the control words on the microphone of a computer, one can make their robots run, dig, skid, take left, take right, stop, etc.” “ Effortless Robotics”, Use of Speech Recognition tool in VB 6.0, Microsoft speech recognition engine. And Coding: At the end of this exhaustive basic robotics workshop, Team Technophilia ensures that the students get a hand on basic electronics, mechanics and computer programming for robot motion control.

Basic Line follower robotics workshop
The IEEE MSRIT organized a Basic Line follower workshop on 7th and 8th April 2007. The workshop was conducted by Dr. A G Venkatesh. The event saw participation from about 75 teams(225 Students) from all over Bangalore.

Robotics Workshop
A two day hands on workshop was conducted by Robo MSR and IEEE MSRIT Student branch on 16th & 17th April 2007. 24 teams participated in the two day workshop, where they learnt the basics of robotics. In the workshop, the participants built a remote controlled robot, under the guidance of the organizers.
