National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) graded our college with 'A+' grade with a score of 3.28 in the year 2021 which enables to know our strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in academics; to identify internal areas of planning and resource allocation; to appreciate collegiality on the campus; funding agencies; to initiate innovative and modern methods of pedagogy; to realize new sense of direction and identity; reliable information on quality; and intra and inter-institutional interactions.



National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by Honorable Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This is an initiative to rank institutions across the country by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”. RIT is ranked No. 78 among the top 100 Engineering Institutions & No. 23 among the top 100 Architecture Institutions across the country and is ranked No. 1 in the Karnataka state among Engineering & Architecture institutions.

NBA Accreditation Details

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India came into existence with an objective of Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education, especially of the programs in professional and technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality, through the mechanism of accreditation of programs offered by technical institutions as recommended by AICTE council. This strives to promote the best international practices and oriented to assess the outcomes of the program. In this line, NBA accredited status granted to RIT for various UG and PG programs.




Sudarshana – Annual College Magazine

The Editorial Board of MSRIT proudly presents its unique creation in the form of the Annual Magazine ‘Sudarshana’ every year which serves as a platform to highlight the literary and artistic segment of the MSRIT family. Sudarshana is designed to present to its readers the year’s events that have gone by, the magazine also showcases the talents of our faculty members and students. With a sense of pride and satisfaction, and with the active support of the management, faculty and students, Sudarshana has come alive .With all the efforts and contributions put in by the students and faculty, the pages that follow will make some interesting reading.



Pradarshana – Project Abstracts

Open day exhibition is organized to exhibit application based projects undertaken by our students. This event helps in enhancing the practical knowledge and showcases the innovative ideas among the students from various disciplines, and to motivate them for future competition in their respective areas and to address the real time problems. PRADARSHANA every year aims at providing an opportunity for MSRIT students to engage and excel in confronting real world design problems. They provide a means for students to apply the various skills acquired from engineering courses throughout their undergraduate study period, including project management, multi-disciplinary teamwork, design skills, and fabrication techniques. By virtue of the submitted reports, students can demonstrate their creative skills in identifying real world problems, formulating alternative solutions, and systematically arriving at final designs that satisfy various professional standards and realistic design constraints.



Sampige – Quarterly News Bulletin

Sampige is the quarterly News Bulletin of MSRIT. It contains the details of the departmental activities and achievements of faculty and staff in time for the release of this bulletin. MSRIT is a hub of various activities and Sampige envisages bringing a snapshot of them all to you. All efforts have been spared to compile information about the activities of the institution effectively since we consider this news bulletin as an effective communication tool. E-Sampige is also available on our website for the information to all our parents and other stake holders.



Abhijna Darpana GEF(E & GS) Newsletter

Abhijna Darpana is the quarterly Newsletter of GEF (E & GS). Abhijna Darpana means ‘Mirror of Knowledge’. The newsletter provides a great platform for the fraternity of faculty, staff, and students of all the Ramaiah institutions to showcase their creative skills, knowledge, and talents, through the originality of thought and perception, which is interesting communication collateral, from the Ramaiah Group Campus to the world outside.
